COVID-19 UPDATE

Patient safety is our priority

Here at Heart & Rhythm Clinic, we are taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

For the safety of our patients and staff, we do will not be accepting walk-ins. We have limited in-office appointments available but will strongly suggest to have your next visit with us through Telehealth, unless absolutely necessary. To ensure the safety of our patients in the office we are taking the following measures:

  • UV-C Disinfection: We have partnered with Bay Area Disinfection Services to equip our office with the latest state-of-the-art technology  that disinfects our office areas with ultraviolet lights after each interaction
  •  Following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, we screen everyone entering our facility with body temperature check
  • Mandatory use of face masks and protective shields for all patient contacts
  • We take extra measures to disinfect our office and our staff are extra diligent in using protective gear and following sanitization protocols

Our clinic will remain fully available and dedicated to provide patient care via video and phone calls. Please be aware that virtual check-in services (which require audio and visual capability for real time communication) has been approved by the federal government for Medicare patients and other patients will be billed to their insurance as a regular visit.

For phone call visits, you will receive a call from our office at the time of your appointment. For video appointments, an email will be sent to you with and invitation for Zoom video conference with your date and time. If you have an iPhone, we can call you via FaceTime.

Follow the instructions bellow to have yourself ready for your Telehealth visit with Dr. Shenasa.

  • Take your blood pressure 5 to 10 minutes prior to your visit
  • Have your current weight
  • Have medication list or bottles handy
  • Have the list of questions for the doctor ready
  • Duration of your appointment will be 20-30 minutes

We appreciate your understanding. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or prescription refill requests.
